Handmade specialty chocolates and comfort desserts
From the stage to the stove.... Making chocolates and desserts was the real dream of singer, songwriter and featured cast member of the long running TV show Hee Haw, Mackenzie Colt. In 1984, Mackenzie started her company creating specialty chocolates and comfort desserts. Everything at Colts is handmade in small batches. The award winning Colts Bolts (the very first chocolate created at Colts) are layered with peanut butter, whole roasted almonds, and covered with milk or dark chocolate. Marie McGhee's Bumble Bees, Truffle Babies, Smoked, and Bella Bark are just some of the beautiful, specialty chocolates at Colts. We also have an extensive line of desserts, such as our Gooey Butter Bars, Rocky Road Brownies, Fudge Pies loaded with pure melted chocolate, and our classic Southern Chess Pie made with traditional ingredients... and that's just a sampling of all the unique desserts we make!
