The Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee offer solutions to those affected by alcohol and drug addictions. The organization was founded in 1966 by individuals who saw the devastating effects of alcohol and drugs on the individual, the family, and the community. They felt that problems created by chemical dependency must be addressed in a pro-active way with programs of education, prevention and intervention. Our Mission is to offer solutions to those affected by alcohol and drug addictions; our Vision is Information, Prevention and Recovery Services are Available to All in Need; and our Values are these: We change and improve lives, we provide passionate and selfless service, we operate with integrity and professionalism, and we pursue resources based on our mission and vision.
